Hi, I just recently bought my first bike a cbr600 and had a few questions on riding gear
im only planning on riding on weekends and maybe once in awhile going to work with the bike but no racing.

i already have a leather jacket with padding for the cold days but i was looking at this body armor for the warmer days, anyone have it? any reviews?
http://www.motodirect.com/servlet/Detail?no=304

also any suggestion for gloves under $76

and as for pants im not a fan of the jeans that look like farmer clothes but i was looking at some other knee/shin pads that can be worn under regular jeans.

is there any another alternative to these that still provide a good amount of protection and can be worn under jeans unnoticablly?

and i was looking for a pair of padded shorts with those

or any reviews on these two? would these be better then the knee/shin guards and shorts combo?

i know theres some review sections on them but just wanted some opinons from here
any feedback would be appreciated, im completly new to this
thanks alot guys

your links arent working to well for me.   I dont really ride my bike for just commuter, I usually wear a full leather suit.

but, I do own a Joe Rocket jacket with removeable lining and vents so it can be worn year around ,but you already have a jacket.

you could look into a good pair of over mesh/ armor overpants, something along these lineshttp://www.newenough.com/protective_apparel/textile_jackets_and_pants/joe_rocket/ballistic_7_textile_motorcycle_pants.html

i live in south tx, and our summer heat is upper 90''s and a few triple digits every now and then, first gloves: these work awesome for me http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Fieldsheer_Troy_Gloves620669.html

and on that link u have, hum thats some serious protection but more for like motocross where u WILL take a fall. For street riding look for a MESH jacket here is mine, again for serious heat its awesome http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Fieldsheer_High_Flow_Mesh_Jacket620657.html

third pants: hum....im still working on that too, lol

forth:....i hope u already have a helmet, lol....
