Deer you it will help if you accelerate into it, you will probably want to be a bit higher in the rpms, and will need to crack open a lot more gas.

powpow''s are for fags, dont be one. keep clutching it up in first gear. get it straight to BP and use your rear brake and you can ride a wheelie for 4584786465 miles.

I just started riding a street bike a few weeks ago (Used to race dirtbikes when I was little, 1992 champion 50cc at daniel boone national motocross park! and road dirt bikes) and I have an 03 F4i.

I just started pulling small wheelies (probably done maybe 10 nothing huge or great) and I am not having to use the clutch at all.  I am going between 5-6k in first and dropping the throttle and then giving her a lot of throttle and the front end pops up, my buddy who I bought the F4i told me you can power them up in 2nd doing the same thing but I haven''t tried it yet, what RPM range do I need to get in?

Prolly shouldn''t be trying wheelies in 2nd after riding for just a few weeks, but if you''re bound and determined to kill yourself i dunno. F4i''s have enough power to 2nd gear power wheelie? I''d clutch it, it''s smoother and you know it''s coming up.

Heath it probably can power up in 2nd, but its going to come up very slow, you will lose a lot of rpms waiting for it. Im with Camaro, larning to clutch them is a good idea.

I just wanted to get it up on 1 wheel and next year when the weather is good for riding is when I''ll really start learning wheelies.  I was reading how it is better to use the clutch anyways as it is more predictable, so this weekend I might see about getting the wheel up a bit in 1st.

Yeah I am definitely not going to go for 12''s anytime soon, when I was powering it up in 1st I think the highest I went was like 1 foot off the ground I''d say.

I might try to clutch it in first at around 15-20 mph to get the wheel to come off the ground.  At that speed what rpms do I need to dump the clutch at?  I am figuring on just going around 15-20 and then clutching it and increasing my rpms be like 1.5-2k and going from there, does that sound good or should I do a little less at first?

I have an 03 F4i that is stock other then -1 (not for sure if it is front or back I''ll have to ask my buddy that did it before I got it)

Uhh NOO.

Don''''t clutch it up in 1st, that''''s for 2nd.

1st gear on my bike is about 20 mph whatever rpm that is for power wheelies.

2nd gear on my bike, about 45-50, around 7 or 8000 rpm''''s for clutching it up. I dont'''' really look though, I go by the sound of it
