I just got back from buying some stuff for my 08 1K and thought I''d share. I got a carbon fiber yoshiura slip-on, asv levers (shortys blk/red), pwr cmndr, rear seat cowl, and carbon fiber knee pads to finish off my carbon fiber accent kit. I''ll post picks once all the stuff is on. The parts should be coming in within the next few days, I can''t wait!!

it all cost about 1300. I got the bike last week so I have spent quite a bit. Lucky for me my wife is understanding of my need to have a bada$$ bike. All together I will have a puig windscreen, carbon fiber accents, yoshimura carbon fiber slip-on, asv levers, PCIII USB. I am still trying to decide on a fender eliminator that doesn''t have flush mount blinkers. The only reason for this is because I am in the military and base safety is pretty stupid about this.

I am waiting on getting my 08 and I am looking at the taylormade exhaust, the PCIII, bikelitez FE, and a few other things. I am like you I look to be spending like 2000+ on mods for a new bike.

Tbagr, someone said you were one of the first on the forum to pick up an 08... how long did it take you to sink that much into your mods?

How about integreated turn signals in your mirrors? No need for flushmounts.

No need.. they''re intergrated onto the front mirrors..dont have waste any money there.. in terms of the fender eliminator..I went with hotbodies..it just looks way better..slick and narrow...

I think the hot bodies looks good, however with that on, When my bike gets inspected on base it wont pass and they''ll tell me to put the stock blinkers back on. That pretty much leaves me with a license plate and perhaps short stalk blinkers.

Any issues after you installed the yoshi short slip ? did you need a PC III ? Was the needle dancing a bit in terms of high or low idling ?
