Now that most of you have a good season on your 08''s, what do you think of it...good and bad? Hows it compare to other liter bikes you''ve driven or owned?

Just got mine and the only problem so far is all of the people that tell me they wish they had one and that they think it is bad ass. There is no need for that, I already know.

I have put 4000 miles on mine so far and have had no issues with oil or smoke from the exhaust or anything.   Love her!!

My 08 is a step up from a 98'' f-3- no problems transitioning at all. No loss of oil,or smoke. I use only Honda 10-40. Lower fairing took a couple min. to figure out, and I can''t figure out why factory manual wants so much torque on oil filter (23ft-lb?), I had to get a filter socket to remove my first filter.  Harley guys at work laugh because you can''t hear the bike at idle from about 10 feet away. They shut up when I screamed over a hill with some twisties next to the sweat shop. Gas mileage...I ride freeway 30 miles to work.  If you stay around 70, about 40mpg- my f-3 only got 46. Slipper clutch is great for decell on upcomming corners. Cornering is a breeze- I love corners-just past the apex-you feel like Buck Rogers as you accelerate out.

Any 08 owners out there experiencing vibration/buzz through the right footpeg, started after 2.5 thousand kilometers at 3k revs. A lot worse now, also at 5/6k revs. Honda Ireland dont seem to have a clue. Any feedback appricated

i bet your vibration is the stupid valve in the muffler if it has stock exhaust when it opens it probably vibrates from the noise of exhaust

No complaints so far but I just got mine so time will tell. The first thing I noticed different on this beast is the brakes. I love the brakes. IMO the stock brakes on this bike are the best I''ve ever had on a sport bike not to mention it handles like my old 600.

I unbolted the exhaust from the footpeg and rode the bike, but it was the same. Savage vibration/ buzz at 3k, mild at 5/6k. Anyone else with the same problem as HONDA say this the only complaint world wide of this nature.
