Braggin again Pete ?? I dunno mate !! just cause we live where its great one day and perfect the next ( except for the occasional massive down pour that near floats us away of course .)

I do not quite understand what it must be like to have to just stop for the ice age to move in every year....must be something you guys get used to I spose ..

Yer , you take care mate ... I would imagine that if the winter is close , the roads will already be a bit dicey....

Hi!

Well the season is really getting over. Forecasts say that by the middle of the October we will get the first snow:S
Roads are cold already and it''s fun but a bit dangerous to ride.
But last year i made my last run in the December with -11 by Celsius and 15 cm snow - was not so good:)
So if you think that way it would not be so bad idea to move a bit warmer place to live:D
But then you have to make all the servicing when there is possible to ride. Now at least i do most repairing when there is a tons of snow outside and nothing to do with bike anyway:)

It''s getting cold here in the north east USA too.  I''m hoping to ride a few more weeks before I wimp out and park the bike for the winter.

Heated grips. Heated jacket.
I''m good for the year here in the PNW. One has to not mind the rain, however. There are a few days of snow, and ice is more common in mid winter when it''s clear.

Hey Pete!

Actually as the base course is over i am on a easier job now so i can access to internet and sometimes even ride a bike:)

But it all has been exactly as you said:" if you put you mind on something you like, the time passes very fast" - and it''s absolutely true:)

That is a shame Dragon but I remember the pictures you posted last year with all that snow.

It has been getting a tad cold here in England in the mornings and at night in particular, and my Gerbings heated jacket liner and heated gloves are coming out of the box if this carries on! It is not really that cold here so god help me in a few weeks time!

34 degrees F (1 C) (OK, you guys made me do the conversion.) here this morning in downtown Apple Valley, Minnesota.  Still not putting away the Cane...just riding more upright and putting on another layer of clothing.  I''d love to get another 3-6 weeks of riding before the white season shows up...hope it works out.

ALL YOU GUYS UP NORTH
Take care in the slippery season - we don''t want to hear of anyone going down because they pushed it too far......We can''t tolerate losses in our little band of brothers (and one sister - HELLO JULES) so take it easy, OK ?

Well we did 450 kms today, it was 12 celsius, the first have was miserable it was barely ten and it rained a bit and was very windy, but halfway trough the ride it started to fell warmer ( ok the coffee and food helped). the second half was awesome even though it was cold. Cheers to veronique for whom it was her first ride and her first ride on her new bike as well, whe did that pretty well.!

here are some pics, of course you''''''''ll recognize the dignified old lady amongst the others.. ( different post cause the files are too big)
