okay..first off...how hot should the r/r get? i rode today for 15 mins crusing between 50-60 mostly and between 4-5k rpms.
so i get home and take the seat off and touch the r/r and the thing was really hot. so hot i had to take my fingers off after a sec....i measured my output voltage and is 13.5@3k rpms, 15.3@5k, and 15.8@7k. , do you think is too high?

i put an aftermarket r/r 300 miles ago, and it worked fine until a few days ago. then i put in the old r/r that supposedly went bad (outputting 19volts at 4k rpms) and thats what im riding with right now, but now it gives me the readings i mentioned above.

what r ur guys thoughts on this?
any input appreciated, it might save me from having my bike die on me again on the freeway.
