I just installed a PCIII on my 03 600rr. It''s running way to rich everyone tells. Loud pops and crackles anytime I let off the gas, flames whenever I rev above 10k rpm and let off or shift. I dont want to mess up the bike if this is bad for it. I dont have the 9V battery thing that comes with it being that I bought the PCIII used. In order to switch maps can I just turn the power on the bike via ignition and plug in my computer that way? Also what are the proper steps to change maps? I already have the right map for my exhaust etc on my computer ready to go.
Thanks guys

Yea, if you have a laptop just bring it out side, connect to the computer, open the program, load the map, shut off, close, disconnect.

Best thing to do would be getting a custom map if its that bad though.

do you have the install manual from Dyno Jet? If not check this link, it has the manuals and maps from dyno jet.

its really easy, go to powercommander.com, delete the old map off your pc3 by plugging it into your computer and then opening the folder that it creates, click the file inside and delete it. then load an appropriate map off of the site.

easy peasy lemon squeezy
