hey yall, i have a 08'' cbr600rr and i want to put on frame sliders well already bought the no cut sliders made of derlin... now after lots of reading and thinking i want to do the cut ones.. now heres my question can i still use the no cut sliders just not use the matal bracket which makes then the no cut?? there really cute so im hopign i can still use them but have not been able to find any answers... thank you

I would not recommend doing this for one main reason. The metal bracket normally would be used takes the place of metal spacers that are already on your bike. If you decided not to use the metal bracket and just add the slider on top of the spacer, your bolt may not achieve proper torque due to the slider being added. Also, there are usually different bolts to attach the slider to the bracket, so I would be surprised if the stock engine mount bolt even fits in the slider properly.

thank you i desided to put them on as no cuts for the time being and maybe later ill change them out and cut the fairing.. you were a lotta help thanks

prob really bad, your engine will be movin around alot due to vibration+ wieght.... i think it would cause wear alot faster and cause prob bad rubbing on parts that shouldnt be rubbed... lol
