Hello All! I thought I''d post up some updated pics of my bike.. nothing much but at least it''s a Honda!  I love it for now but with being 6''4" n 240 lbs I really would like to trade it for a literbike. Well, here''s a few pics I took this afternoon... they aren''t on a beach or anything (like CBRclassics ) but they should do!

a fun one... falls here!

and one of me being retarded

nope! no heat shield... not bad tho, it gets warm, but not too bad.  I try to go fast enough that the breeze keeps the hot air pushed away from my boot

I plan on upgrading from the micron slip-on to a full system and some sort of programming device. Maybe pc3, maybe another... Other than that I have the 520 kit -1/+2 sitting on my workbench.  Possibly get new levers, rearsets, and track tail n front too... but I can''t do that til I get a literbike for the street next year.  I can''t wait til this thing is a pure track machine :)

Nice bike, I have no heat sheild either and no problems with my leg...us taller guys (I''m 6''-4" as well) our legs don''t get as close to the heat, I think.  I never feel it....

Welcome to the show.

Diggin the bike bro.  I also ride with no heat shield, and it''s never been an issue.  I do have some exhaust tape and teflon coating on the way though, but only because I think the void looks ugly and I dig the look of the tape.

who''s the sexy guy in pic 4 :P haha jokes.

nice bike man.

in the usa. do u guys get nailed by the cops for having a fender eliminator. in aust we get defected cos theres no "rear mudflap" and our indicators have to be 30mm gap from the indicator to the tail light. but i went against the law and put a intergrated tail light in haha ive been done 4 times for it... but meh.. looks awesome :D

damn guys! I just randomly checked this thread and I dont know why I havent been getting my email notifications?! I am subscribed but I havent been getting email notifications for most of my subscribed threads... oh well.  anyways

ya, I love my stompgrips.   They look hot sometimes, and sometimes I feel they take away from the pure sex look of the bike, but overall I dont'' think I''ll ever have a bike again without them.  I''m a big guy and I really use these for stopping my balls from plowin the tank at lights.  Plus they are awesome for carvin the twisties.

I have heat shield tape stuck up under the undertail.  It seems to work good and was like $20.  Obviously I feel the heat occasionally but its never been bad enough that I felt the need for the shield to be placed back on.  I guess I would consider powdercoating it and reinstalling but I kinda like the gap.
