nope! no heat shield... not bad tho, it gets warm, but not too bad. I try to go fast enough that the breeze keeps the hot air pushed away from my boot

I plan on upgrading from the micron slip-on to a full system and some sort of programming device. Maybe pc3, maybe another... Other than that I have the 520 kit -1/+2 sitting on my workbench. Possibly get new levers, rearsets, and track tail n front too... but I can''t do that til I get a literbike for the street next year. I can''t wait til this thing is a pure track machine :)

Nice bike, I have no heat sheild either and no problems with my leg...us taller guys (I''m 6''-4" as well) our legs don''t get as close to the heat, I think. I never feel it.... Welcome to the show.

Diggin the bike bro. I also ride with no heat shield, and it''s never been an issue. I do have some exhaust tape and teflon coating on the way though, but only because I think the void looks ugly and I dig the look of the tape.
