I put on the PCIII, ignition modual, and quick shifter.  I went to go get it dyno tuned and it does not run right for them.  It runs ok above 4000 rpms.  But bellow 2500 RPMs it back fires, and dies.  The shop is stummped.  I put new NGK spark plugs 5000 miles ago.  It ran fine at a track day a few days earlier.  The FI light is NOT on.  I have the O2 sensor bypass.  The quick shifter is working great.  If anyone has any ideas I would be very greatful.  Thanks for your time.

I had my PC3 fail a few months ago, it ran like crap till i realized it was not functioning. Have them unhook it and see how the bike runs.

The PCIII, Ignition modual, and quick shifter are brand new out of the box. (what I ment by it ran fine earlier is before I put the power commander on)  I didnt ride it after I put the power commander monduals on.  I didnt want to until I dyno tuned it, due to the quick shifter.  If it is not adjusted correctly it can smoke your trans.  Do you think it is a bad PCIII, out of the box?  I was thinking that I might have hooked it up wrong, but if I did that it wouldnt run at all (wrong coil to wrong wire).  Let me know what you think

Yea, you cant really hook it up wrong, and if you did somehow it shouldnt run (no signal from ecm to anywhere). Im not real sure about the ignition module though, i have never installed an aftermarket one. The pc3 being bad out of the box is unlikely, but whos to say it didnt get dropped somewhere along the line getting to you. I guess i would start by double checking your hookups. If all look good, then take off the pc3 and see if it changes. If not then unhook the ignition module and see if that changes it. Just gonna take a little test time, if it ran good before it has to be something you hooked up, or didnt hook up right. I just thought tho, the only other thing would be if you didnt disconnect the battery, and during install you possibly touched some wires and created a short somewhere, but that seems highly unlikely, as all your mods are plug and play correct?

ya plug and play.  All that is needed is, plug into the coils, and crank sensor for ignition modual.  and for the PC3 just plug it into the fuel rail. All three components are power commander and should work together as they were disigned to.  so I think you are right about it being plug in correctly.  I told them what was said here, hopefully they will find it.  If all else fails I will unplug the powercommander.
