first of all i'm new, so my name is josh. i just bought my first bike. it's an 87 cbr 1000 and i could really use help with finding fairings, a complete kit would be awesome. if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly apreciated. thanks guys

Hi Josh,

I have this site bookmarked. These guys make up & will have the farings for your bike. I have an 88 CBR1000 and have been looking around for most of these sites already. It's hard to get parts for our older bikes.

do 88 farings fit 87?

hi bud 88 should fit 87 as the fairings changed in 89 in 89 it changed to fk yours should be a fh and fj followed yours just dont get any fk stuff cos you could run into probs, as for buying, ebay has had allot of 87 and 88 panels on recently.

forget to mention if u go to www.partspartners.com/html/cbr1000.html u should find lots of info on spec changes and dates etc which will help u in buying parts all my best ric
