well right now I''m making the new motor mounts for the engine, and re-inforcing the quad frame with 4130 chromoly, but my question is can I do something about that huge airbox sticking straight up, is there an easy way to have my filters go out to the side of the carbs, say like a filter on each side of the quad and each filter will compensate 2 carbs...will that work?

I don''t see why not - make sure your filters have some protection from direct dust flow, though.

you can also get individual filters for each one.  Pain to get set right though.  Good luck!
