If you''re lookin'' to drop some Lbs., you''ll be hard pressed to $ beat this...

http://www.motorcycleproshop.com/detail.asp?product_id=v14502

They sell jet kits as well, V&H recommends it.

I would love for it to be quiet, i go to work early in the morning at 3:30 and i would hate to wake up all my neighbors every morning i start my Cane..

they do look sweet , i just want them to be not very loud.
I mainly want to lose LBS as well as gain some Chrome/Polished looks.

Oh yes, not that it ever gets colder than about 8c here, midwinter !
Just had a week of rain, slippery roads and general carnage - cage drivers seem to go even quicker in the wet.......

I put the V&H on mine and like it very much. The pipes are great and give a nice, clean look. I took off the exhaust covers so did lose some weight (although I''d lose about 15 lbs if I could just stop eating cookies).

The sound is pretty good. I don''t love it but it is not bad at all. Just a wee bit reedy. The volume isn''t bad either. If you''re not winding it up right out of the driveway I don''t think you''re neighbours would be complaining.

I may replace the can this winter with a Supertrapp universal megaphone. IF anyone has any opinions on that, I''d be interested.

Oh yeah, and it does need a jet kit. I didn''t do it at first and it was crappy pulling away from idle. Put in Dyno jets and its all good now.

I have an earlier version of these on my 96 Bought them about 6 years ago. They look very similar but they have the tabs on the pipes for the heat shields. Excellent fit and awesome sound, Stainless Steel. No rejetting required and I''''m in Colorado. Still look like the day I put them on. Check my post, There are pics of the Lasers on my bike. I think I paid $550 for the pair delivered from Fosterrad-same place. Took a few weeks to get them from Holland. I think I''m the only one on this forum that runs the twin Lasers.
You won''''t be disappointed
