I just had my bike in for service today getting the bike looked at(inspection, alignment, bushings..etc) while the tech was looking over the bike I mentioned to him that my Front Fork Rebound Adjusters have different range of adjustments. My left fork has lets say .... 4 turns of adjustment while the right only has 3.5 turns. The tech immediately spoke up and said the fork needed to be torn down and possibly rebuilt.

My question... what would cause that and could I have damaged anything internal on the forks while riding on it for 5k+ miles? As far as I know this was like this from the factory.

Only accidental ones. If I have the front does come down pretty fast and sometimes hard.

That''s what thought...maybe the local tech is hooking me up(I do all my business through him and this dealership)? but he assured me that Honda would pay for the labor and parts as needed. I know nothing about front forks and was wondering what part could be defective or broken?
