    Hey all,

After reading through all the posts, ya''ll have helped me numerous times just by reading your tuts and troubleshooting tips.  Had to replace my rectifier recently because i had a problem with my battery going dead constantly.  Aside from that I''m loving my bike.  Anyhow, I''m fixing to do a major overhaul on it.  Installing a 97 f3 engine, f4i gauges.  f3 fairings/seat etc.  So i''ll have a full set of F2 fairings for sale if anyone is needing.  I should be getting my new fairings in a month so they''ll be available by then.  All i can say is thanks for all your help and tips.  Here are a few pics of the bike as it is.  And a pic of the fairings that are going on the bike.

I thought all the F2 models had the molded in front turn signals?  I see yours dont?

Then after looking at your pics again I see you already have F3 fairings on there..

I already have F3 fairings? those fairings are coming from ebay, found the set for 350.  couldn''t pass that up.  Once I get the F3 engine install ( which should just bolt up right? ) I''m assuming i''ll have to get another wiring harness for the bike as well?

I know for a fact that the stator is different.  Mine has a 95 F3 motor and the only major change I can see is the stator but I have not dung into it to find out how far it goes.

Well the stator is in the engine is it not?  or the right side?  will the F3 engine bolt right up? I''m trying to get rid of the mechanicial speedo so i can put the f4i gauges on it.

The F3 motor should bolt right in, its essentially the same as an F2, just retooled quite a bit.

from what i gather, they aren''t factory.  a place in japan makes f2/f3 fairings like crazy.  Spent 2 years on okinawa and made a bunch of rice burning contacts over there that love these bikes.  Just recently got this bike and want to do some upgrades.

Top cowl and lower fairing are def F3 fairings. You can tell the cowl by the shape of the area by the windscreen and the lowers by the access dor panel has two scoops instead of one.
