Hey All,
Is there any difference in the Service manual for 2005 and 2003 ? I Have a manual for a 2003 but have a 2005 600 f4I.
Mainly I'm interested in the maintenance sections.

Thanks, Lumberman

are you talkin about a service-repair manual like a "Haynes" or the little manual you get when you buy the bike??? cause a "Haynes" type gives you the years it covers for that model and inside the manual it will diferentiat the different years w/ letters like p,m,n etc... for the different years. i hope that helps

Generally the factory service manuals will be the same if no major changes except BNG (**Bold New Graphics**). I'm not sure what, if any, differences exist between '03 and '05 F4i.

Thanks guys,
Sorry I wasn't real clear, but I was refering to a service manual.
I'm gonna try to do the valve inspection myself, and all the other maintenence items.
Just want to be sure that nothing was changed engine wise between those years.
Thanks again,
Lumberman

If there are any differences they won't be in the service sections, usally in the tear down section. Valve inspections/adjustments proceedures will be the same on all shim under bucket motors for the F4I. Double check and call a dealer and ask what the specs are on the 05.

It's all the same... I have the factory service manual and right at the top it says 2001-2005. Only difference is in the back there's two seperate wiring schematics, one for 01-03, and another for 04-05, and then in the frame/body panels/exhaust system section there's different sections for the 01-03 and 04-05 versions of the seat, pillion seat, rear cowl, rear fender, and subframes. Everything else is the same for all years, just a different part # for spark plugs for the 2001's
