This weekend was my first real weekend of riding my 02 f4i. Had alot of fun.

Everything is working fine except the low fuel indicator is acting funny. I''ve had the Res thing come on twice this weekend and when I went to fill up both times it took about 2 gallons to top it off then the light went away. according to my manual it should come on once you hit .95 gallons of gas.

The bike apparently sat for quite awhile before i bought it and it had a new fuel pump put in apparently. c

is it possible that the indictor is sticking or something?

either way, you should use your trip odometer to measure your fuel...you cant rely on res bar

to reset trip odo you just hold the bottom button until it turns to zero
top one to change between odo, and both trip meters
