You spend all your time going in a straight line at top speed? Not likely, who cares if it has more top-end, you won''t be using it.

you could probably run them 10 times, and have 10 different results. All of the liter bikes are so damn close, it all comes down to the rider. Heck, even on a track with profesional riders, your looking at hundreths of a second. I love Honda bikes, but learned long ago.. there is no one supreme bike out there... Not even the Gixxer as so many claim...lol.

Personally I dont give a shit if guy next time has a faster bike. Don''t mean shit. In real world, it''s all about the rider. I''ll keep it short, but I remember one time at the last light before the twisties, I was waitin for green on my F3, not really planning on riding hard. Guy rolls up next to me on an R1. Looks over at me and I wave and say what''s up. He looks at my 600, and just does one of the pfft things, and kinda shakes his head at me. Light turned green, and he took off like a rocket. I said f it, and made chase. I caught him by end of 1st corner, passed him on the OUTSIDE on the 2nd, and by the 4th I couldnt see him in my rear view anymore. Twisties are a couple miles long then it merges onto freeway. I keep riding at a decent pace, but not hard anymore, feeling I made my point. After being on freeway for a few miles, I see a bike coming up quick, I scoot over to let him by, and lo and behold it was the R1, apparantly able to kick ass on a total straight away. lol. Anyways, will forever remember that day.

youre right chainstretcher, but for some reason, im so very interested on knowing the similarities and differences that each bike has like handling, power, looks, sound, etc... but no, im not gonna race some "guy" thru curves on an unpredictable hwy cuz i dont want to suffer the consequences.
