Hey ladies, how many of y'all put in your own garage time? I do all the work to my bike by myself, and actually, I find it to be easier to get into the smaller spaces than my husband does!!! I was just curious if y'all are doing your own wrench turning too?

So far I'm the only one that's done work on it.

Well I've got a friend to take care of oil changes & stuff, but my man and I have done the mods. He thinks if I do it alone, I'll mess it up. So I let him help...LOL!

lol....that's kind of like my situation. I ask him how to do it, he tells me, I do it, and he double checks everything. Oh, and he's gotta tighten up the bolts cause I don't have the hand strength to get it tight enough. I'd hate to have something happen just because I didn't get a bold tight enough, you know?

Sure I know, but your bike is your bike. I know how to do it, but having my friend do it, isn't bad. He used to work at a dealership, and has all the tools. So it's just easier. I mean I can call him now and say I'm coming over for an oil change and he'll do it.

I help with what I can (I've cleaned and lubed my own chain, and then did it so well, Chris had me do his ... LOL), but other than that, I mostly stand around and hand him tools. It's not that I don't WANT to help, it's more than it's all very new to me, and I'd probably do more damage than good. *shrug*
