Rule of thumb is you can go up or down 1 tire size with no problems. You might can fit a 200 on there but you'll need to measure to make sure the swingarm will handle the extra width. Your handling will be crappy going wider and the extra tire weight won't help either. Turn in and lean angles will feel awkward and be hurt. High speed stability will be improved though.

i pulled up beside a 900rr last year that had a extended swingarm and a fatboy (or whatever they're called) 240 tire kit on his. i was following him up the road and pulled beside him at the light and asked what size tire it was, it was huge!! it looked to be mainly a show bike though, custom paint job, chrome everywhere, and a huge rear tire. didn't look like he'd be able to turn well with it, but i couldn't tell anything apparently different with his lean, this was at 60mph or so....

I have a 190 50 17 on the back of my 95 and it almost hits the chain so I think a 190 is the widest you can go before you have to do a wide tire swap
