Hello everyone just saying hello. New to the forum, i'm in Ireland and talk of the demise of the thou in 1996 was a bit premature as i ride a 97 cbr1000f
Well hope to join in some interestin threads.

Yeah, love these bikes this one is my fifth so far and the best. I did own a 94 california import with all the emissions control gubbins (see pic black/white one). Looked cool though, all the good colours seem to go the states.
All of them have had the usual cct rattle from cold but nothing to worry about, mate just had his changed at 65k miles cause he could and not because the bike was acting up. Current bike is suffering flakey wheel paint though which is unusual for a honda, but will get them powder coat after summer. Just gave her some tlc this weekend with new oil/filters/plugs etc... Jeez dont you just hate screwing the plugs in with the fear of stripping a thread, damn aluminium heads..

This is incredible how we(USA) or at least I think, that all the cool color scheme go to Europe.
They look wilder or radical in design, we get the conservative subdue one's.

I agree with Baron on this one. All the bikes here seem so.....blah! The European bikes get all the cool goodies.
