Anyone know where I could purchase Key blanks for an 01 F4i?? My dealer does not stock them, and I havent had any luck finding them on ebay (Id rather not have a key with a giant skull on it). No one in my area stocks blanks as long as our bikes require. Knowing me, id rather have more than one key!! Thanks guys!

Have them order them just like any other Honda part. Have a locksmith cut the key. In my experience the dealers don't do a good job cutting keys.

My dealer told me that they wont order individual keys because its not worth it for them. Apparently they make a large order in may or june for bike keys, and frankly I dont want to wait that long. Its the runaround for sure. Are there any online parts sources for OEM key blanks?

I think the scull keys are pretty cool, but a little steep on price. Thats a portion of change that could go to my Zero Gravity Double Bubble. $11 for a key is pretty laim too.

Not a hugh fan of the skull myself. Suprised the dealer doesn't have some. Best of luck.

I was a parts manager for a honda M/C dealership a few years back, and that is a load of crap.....You also need to find another honda dealer...The OEM balnks(which is what you want) have a part-number just like anything else (Honda OEM #---> 35121-MAS-G01) and is ordered by them as EACH, not in lots...$11 sounds about right....Whoever said have a locksmith cut it is correct...dont let the dealer do it, especially one who wont order the dang blank for you..

Hope this helps

btw, the key blank os from a 2004 parts fiche...the number may have been superceded..The honda dealer should be able to tell you

Dude, just go to a local locksmith. call around and ask who has motorcycle keys. I jast made one about 3 weeks ago for.....get this...................$2.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forget about that dealer B.S!!!!! I had to go to like 3-4 places, but it was worth it. I went to a little local place called abra-cadabra. Key works fine too. Got a car key and bike key for less than $5!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call around.
