I took my bike out this morning just for a ride around the block. It started up fine and ran fine. I pulled it back into the garage and shut if off.

I went to eat breakfast, came home and realized it was nice outside so decided bundle up and take the bike out for another spin...

I tried starting it and it will not start. It is turning over but is not getting any spark! Every once in aswhile u might get a cough out of it, but thats it. I have a full tank of gas. And the bike is brand new, only 60 miles on it....

any help or suggestions?

Well i let my bike sit for about 3 hours. I went back into the garage and tried to start it again. It is turning over and i actually got a few sputters out of it. So i guess my question now is, if it is flooded, how long would it take to start?

Happened to me one time. seemed like it was flooded. i held the throttle open all the way as i cranked it. once it started i brought the throttle back to idle. supposed to clear a flooded engine. good luck

i went out this morning before work and tried to start it again after letting it sit overnight for about 10 hours. Still no luck!

Seems like i am not getting any spark from the plugs, but i really can't see the plugs goign bad after only 60 miles? Bad gas maybe?

help!

hey mang...if the kill switch is set to murder...then it won't even turn over.
plugs may be fouled from all the flooding. also, could be that you let it sit so long, then started it, drove the nasty gas and particles into the lines and now you jacked!

I'd say just take it in, its under warrentee. Usually, I'm a do it yourselfer when it comes to bikes, but since its so new...let it be their problem.

My starter will turn all day long with the kill switch on -- just won't crank. Only time the starter won't crank over is if the side stand is down and it's in gear.
