The two brothers they have listed sounds nothing like mine. The problem you're going to run into is which one they are testing. There's more than one Yoshi and Two Brothers out there.

The only tip I can give is, play it safe. Before you buy... find someone that has them exhaust and listen to them. The RS5 on the ZX6 doesn't sound like the sound test either. It was a little louder than stock, but does have a lower tone.

The M2H I have... is much louder and has a great sound to it.

Try checking out your local hang outs... around here, most riders meet up at local gas stations before rides.

I tried to buy the RS5 carbon cone, but they were on back order for three months. Still on back order now. I switched to the two brothers M2H... it's new so you have to call to order it. it's a little more $$$'s (about $500) but it's sooo much nicer. I actually installed it and went for a test ride and ran into a ZX6 with the RS5. Sounds closer to stock, as far as loudness goes. It does have a deep throaty sound, but nothing like the M2H. This is an expensive game to play... you can't take our word for anything as far as sound. If I had to do it all over again... I would buy anything unless I could hear it first. The 2bros is leaps and bounds ahead of the RS5, IN MY OPINION ONLY!!! If I would have bought it and came up beside the one I have now... I'd kick myself. Do you have any riders in your area? It's worth the time to find slip ons installed so you can hear them in person before you sink the $$$ into it.

Here's what I have...

looks awesome don! i absolutely love the endcap. you don't know if i can install that style endcap on my c4 do you???

Sound Clips

a little info on those sound clips. i have that issue of sportrider where they tested all those pipes. the test bike was a 2003 r6 and all the pipes were slip-ons. just something to remember when listening.

I have the Jardine RT-1 and all i can say is.....WOW. I love it. Good low end, and the higher you rev it, the tighter it gets. Sounds really close to my buddie's R6 with a micron, but alot tighter up high then the micron is.

The C4 dimensions are 4.5 x 4.5" and the M2h are 3.75 x 4.85.
Here's the page with the measurements....

damn you and your not-round silencer! i was mezmerized by the beauty of the 2bros carbon and endcap to notice the size difference in the pics. i have to admit, the m2h is hands down the nicest looking slip-on that i have ever seen.

So the RS5 sounds pretty much stock as far as loudness is concerned, but throatier. So how does the 2 Bros M2H sound? Too bad there's no sound clips floating around out there.

I disagree with that. I think it is much deeper and louder over the stock exhuast. Not to loud but you can definitly tell a difference.

That wasn't my opinion, I haven't heard either exhaust in person. I was just quoting Don and reiterating what he had said about when he heard the RS5 on another bike.

It is my opinion... the RS5 on the ZX6 sitting right beside a 600RR with stock exhaust. The loudness was about the same. It is louder... just not a big difference for the money.

Have you heard an RR with the Yoshi?? Seems mine is so much louder than stock. Not trying to be an ass, just want to post my opinion also. I know that exhaust tone gets beat to death hear and just wanted to offer another opinion and give people as much info as possible.

You might call your local dealer (even though I very much dislike mine)....they probably know of a guy with one and would get him to meet ya so you can hear it

they offered to do this when I was trying to figure out between the RS-5 and 2-Bros

you gotta see and hear 1st hand to decide
