You will need to port and polish your cylinder head to get the full gain of the cams.

I know!! our bike are monsters out the box. But with money getting tight and the new 1000's out there coming out with more power I just want to do the next best thing besides buying a new bike. I mean i LOVE my 929 I was the bike of my dreams, My Buddy in cali got one when they first came out a red /white one and i told my self i have to get one.. So i really don't want to let it go , but when i saw the all black ZX-10r in one of the magz, I was like Damn!!! SLipper CLutch....Steering Damper.....More power... Easier to ride!!! I just couldn't help but want.. same goes for the gsxr 1000... but to tell you guys the truth, i'm a strieght up honda guy!!! from cars, lawn mowers, motorcycles, etc..... they just been all out good products.. aight sorry that. i had to vent.. well hold it down and ride safe ...

i was thinking of putting a 954rr motor but ... as for right now my 929rr motor put out more hp after SAE with just the minor upgrades UNTUNED.. yet . As soon as i get my cams i will get it completly tuned, at a authurized factoryPro tunning shop.. I don't know what to do??? beef up my Paid OFF 929rr or get back into $debt$ for the new girls on the block(zx10r,r1,gsxr 1000, cbr 1000rr ) what to do !? what to do!? Well if i wait untill the middle of 2007 wifey will be done with school and she'll be making some money for a change! I am planning to get the new Evo X . but that's too far away! I dun know guys/gal's ???? to be continued......................................

build build build... a nice roller cam do they make roller cams for bikes? some new pistons, maybe a 1lb bottle of nos, a 520 conversion, full exhaust system, do they make a turbo or supercharger? see if you can find a 929 thats being raced and see what mods they have. i'm trying to decide the same thing you are, and i really like the 929 so i'm thinking i might build it up.. try and get around 150-170hp or so out of it. so you should build yours up so i know what and what not to do. edit: you should probly get how much all that would cost first and see if its even worth it.
