Does anyone know if there is anyway to change the banana seat to a dual seat like the 2001 model?

I cannot stand the one long seat makes me feel like I am riding a Katana!!!!

Will the 2001 Rear Cowl fit on? Anyone let me know!!!!

Hey lildogg. You can change the rear end to look like an F4i but you'll need some parts

These are the basic parts you will need:
2001/2002 Honda CBR 600 F4i Subframe
2001/2002 Honda CBR 600 F4i Undertray/Fender
2001/2002 Honda CBR 600 F4i Front and Rear Seats
2001/2002 Honda CBR 600 F4i Rear Cowl
2001/2002 Honda CBR 600 F4i Taillight

Here is a very good tutorial on how to do the modification. CLICK

Keep your eyes open on ebay since that will probably be the best place to get parts at a descent price.

Hey Wood, it is a pretty easy procedure. With their parts ready to go and the bracket for the fuel pump welded on the F4i frame, they both knocked it out in about 1/2 a Saturday. The post I linked above should answer any questions you have.

No prob. I agree with you, but I will probably just buy a seat cowl to go over the back part of the seat.

True. That would be cheaper than changing everything .... who makes one for that model bike?
