whats up pplz... I just bought a cbr f3 97... I dont know if they are all like that but... when I give it gas to go fast, the rpms go up fast but the bike does not pick up.. it takes a while to pick up speed what couls it be???

Clutch pads are prolly shot. If you're mechanically inclined do it yourself and save a wad of cash.

yeah I had a friend of mine look at it.. he told me to change the clutch.. how hard is that to chance?

It's easy -- but if you've never done it ya might wanna have a friend help you. At the least buy a shop manual for it.

As a possible last resort a few years back I had bought a Kevlar clutch and dropped the bike off at the Honda shop who replaced it for me for $40 and a new gasket so it was worth it at that time. I do my own clutches now.
