so i like the windscreen spikes from "spike wurkz" but i'm sure there is a cheaper spike scew out there i just can't find them let me know if anyone out there has a cheaper solution

I don't know how much the spike wurks are, but I got mine from spyderracing.com. They have chrome, aluminum, and various other colors available.

the set on the "altered chrome" site look great and are very reasonably priced, but does anyone know if we need the 5mm or 6mm for the cbr 600rr

i have the spinwurkz ones....i had to drill out the holes on the fairings so they sit flush now, lookin sweet but they are pricey...i got mine when i met the guys down at carlisle so i got a sweet price

yeah ebay is kinda fair price. I may get one myself...
DThompson, does the one on ebay fit directly on the OEM hole or you need to make a bigger hole?

Yes it does, all you have to do is take one screw out, put a spike in its place, all the way to the end. Real simple
