If it stalls after warming up then your idle is probably turned down to low.

Batteries are only good for a few years. They should be at 14 when on, when off they should be close to that, maybe high 13's. If they charged it b/c it was almost dead, that was a mistake on your part. It is not good to charge batteries that constantly die. They will never get the full charge back and when your riding your chancing the bike just dying on you. Get a new battery, it's your cheaper & safer bet. Good luck!

Your idle adjuster is on the left side of the bike. Maybe mid-range in the fairing. It looks like a little twisty type thingie....sorry I can't give you a better description, but it's there. Go in the area right above your cap, more towards the foot peg and gear lever. You should maybe idle at 1500.

its funny you have this problem bc my bike dies while riding too. So i went out and bought a brand new battery just like everyone is saying and my bike idle is a little less than 1900rpm's. i have a 93 600 f2 and the bike still dies on the road, mainly in 1st gear when im at a stop, it just dies and then the battery is dead and i cant restart it. i found three wires fried to a crisp and replaced them and it still didnt help. Still trying to find out whats wrong with mine, im looking at the voltage regulator or a weak generator. Idk hope you have better luck than i did. hope this helps

I'm experincing the same issue with my 94 F2.
Like you I figure it's battery problems. So, I take my battery in for a check up. They say the battery is fine after a charge. Thinking the issue is resolved, I fire up my bike and take a 30 mile trip. Everything is fine heading to my destination. Even slowing down for lights is not a problem. I jump on my bike after about 2 to 3 hours for the return home. It will not start. The battery is completely dead, eventhough the engine is still wam. In my case the first push start isn't difficult. But, at the first light I stop at it dies again. I couldn't push start it by myself. A motorist pulls over to help me. It takes a number of push tries before I can keep it trottled up to go. To make a long story short, less than 3 miles from home and 2 hours of push starting, completely exhausted I have to call my parents it get a flatbed trailer to pick me and the bike up.
The next day I called a local dealership with my issues. I also told him I had nursed an old battery before buying this new one. By nursing, I mean if I could not get my bike to crank on the first start I would then preceed to push start it. He thought I might have damage the Alternator. He also said it could be the Rectifier Voltage Regulator draining the battery. My bike's been sitting in my garage for 3 months since I don't fill like paying $800 (if I do the work myself) for an alternator for a bike that worth around $2500. I am not sure what the rectifier cost.  --------------------I hope this helps.--------------------

How low is your idle set at guys? What about the alternators on your bikes - are they ok?

Did you do a continuity test? (SPELL CHECK PLEASE!) Get yourself a voltmeter and make sure you have good ground for the negative cable at the battery, and pop the stator cover and check to make sure the wires are connected and not burnt or striped/pinched. Your going to need HONDA bond and a new gasket to reassemble the cover.

Don't be intimidated by the bike. If you have service manual and voltmeter your already ahead of the game. The honda manual sections 17 electrical and 21 wiring should guide you. When your board read it for kicks. I leave mine by the bowl. Knowledge is power!

You should check the ACID level in your battery. If its low add some distilled water, if you cant get distilled water boil some water for 10 minutes, let it cool to room temp and add it to the cells that are low. Once topped up put the battery on a trickle charger (they are the best for charging) you can use a regular charger but quicker charging isn't as good as trickle charging.
I have done this my self and works great, if you keep riding your bike with a battery that keeps dieing you will kill your regulator or solenoid = $$$$$$$
