Anyone else interested in an alarm for your bike? Any dealers want to make us a good deal on one? if not everyone can post which alarm they want and we can try and agree on one. i will then try and find a place that will give us the best group discount. I would personaly like one for under 100$ but i dont know to much about them so let me know what you think.

I have no idea about them, wha they go for, or the quality, but I'd be interested in 2 of them depending on the $$$$$$

this is what talon is offering:

Hi Cody,

We will certainly set-up a GB for you and your fellow members.

Heres what we offer. A 15% discount off the retail price of the alarm
provided that 5 members purchase the alarm by April 7th. Instead of you
having to deal with the nuisance of getting everyone's info, etc we ask
that the GB proceed as follows.

Members MUST put 'CBR Forum GB/April 7' in as the COMPANY NAME when they
go through the online purchasing process (This is when the credit card
info is typed in). Simple enough? When the group buy gets to 5 or more
purchases, we will apply the refund for the extra amount paid back onto
the purchasing credit card.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Regards,
Brad Vansickle

i'm just looking for somthing that will make noise when someone touches my bike. i really dont think that having your bikes blinkers flashing is really going to do much why the alarm is going off. i'm going to look for somthing a little more simple, and then compare.

What options are you looking for?

pretty much same thing. if someone touches my bike, the thing goes off. I know on my car, like whenever someone bumping a sound system, or like a bus driving by, it will go off...I'm kinda looking for something similar just because i dont exactly live in the best neighborhood in the world. but i guess, if they really want my bike, they will take it regardless. Im still interested in whatever you find. just let me know. I need 2, and yours is 3 so hopefully we can find a few more people..

This is the system that is going on my bike. The installation is pretty simple. I can get any other info needed. It is full of STANDARD features, not options.......the only options are a tilt sensor and cover for the remote.
