I am also in the market for an alarm. I want a Scorpio because the 2 way paging fob impressed me. Also the proximity feature impressed me. How does the range and features of the scorpio compare to the other alarms with those types of features listed in this post? how do they compare when it comes to loudness/ obnoxiousness?

Wow! Who dug up this old a$$ thread?? I do agree that an alarm system is a great investment for any bike. Gives ya piece of mind. Also the two-way paging is a great feature. If you want one of the best on the market, then I agree on the Scorpio i600. I got one and it's got it all. Anything that attracts attention is better than nothin. @ white99gt: You speak of the i600 with all the extras for $315 shipped, but give no link to where ya got it. C'mon share the love for all the others man! PS - I got mine at kneedraggers for $310 shipped with all the goodies and the new TRS6 Black remote. Only thing is it was a fluke as I ordered the TRS5, but I guess they were outta stock so I got the brand new one for the old model's price. Unfortunately, they've already fixed that.

That's awesome dood! Let me ask you a question. Since you got both remotes (TRS5 & 6), which do you think is better all-around? My TRS6 seems to go about a week between charges under normal use. Just wondering how long that AAA battery in the TRS5 lasts?
