After looking into the products immediately available to me, and talking with one of my technicians with knowledge on the subject, I have this to offer on the subject of Motorcycle Alarms:

--- There is nothing electrically special about alarms designed for motorcycles; the differences are primarily sized-down components for installation purposes, use of sensors better suited for small vehicles, and usually smaller waterproof remotes.
--- Because bikes have weaker electrical systems and tend to sit for longer periods of time, I asked if there are risks of the alarm draining the battery and am told that the drain is very negligible and should not be a problem in any case.

Here are the products I offer:
1) The Merlin 3000 is the lastest/greatest motorcycle alarm from DEI. I'm going to get one of these installed myself, and I'll relay some of my own opinions on this to the group.
2) The Merlin 2000 is an older version designed for any type of small craft.

For my friends on CBRF I can offer the following:
Merlin 3000 = Retail: $399 / CBRF price: $210 shipped to your door
Merlin 2000 = Retail: $249 / CBRF price: $105 shipped to your door

NOTES:
--- Payment: I prefer paypal: ebay@pixeltamer.com
--- Pricing is for one item shipped via UPS ground to locations in North America only.
--- Please allow me up to 1 week lead time to obtain product when ordering.

Disclaimer: I do hope I'm not encroaching on any product or sevice offered by any of our site supporters; if this is not the case, please notify me and I will adjust accordingly.
