Alright my F4i bros and sisters, I'm strongly considering parting ways with my beloved F4i in order to get a 1000RR instead (see this post). That being said, I have some parts that I'm going to need to get rid of and just wanted to gauge any interest in them. Here's what I got and what I'm hoping to get for them. Most of these items are visible on my bike in my gallery. Let me know if there's any interest. I'll post in the classifieds section as well.

Sportech Dark Chrome windscreen = $50
Yoshi RS-3 Slip-on Pipe (less than 2k mi on the pipe) = $200
Targa Seat Cowl with F4i Decals. I just got this and have only ridden the bike twice with it on. (see my gallery for pics) = $170
USB PCIII. Just installed this about 2 mos ago. = $200

PM me if you have any questions or interest.

Absolutely, it's in near perfect shape. There are no defects or scratches at all. Just to make sure you understand exactly which part it is here's a link to the Sportech page for this item.

Thanks, Tim

The exhaust was only installed on the bike for about 8 mos. It's practically in perfect condition. There are no scratche or dings. I have all the original hardware for the pipe and will ship it in the original box with the original install instructions. I even wiped it down with some stainless steel cleaner so it's extra shiny. This pipe has the "race" baffle too by the way, not the stock-stock sounding zyclone baffle.

According to the Yoshi website the RS-3 Oval Slip on fits all F4Is from '01-'06.

Thanks for asking.

Absolutely. I believe the power commander will work on all F4i models between '01-'06. PM me if you'd like to buy it. Thanks!

DiVo has claimed the windscreen. Thanks!

I've gotten a couple of inquiries about the PCIII and the Yosh Pipe, but so far noone has committed to anything or sent any cash. If you guys are serious please Pay Pal kiggy74@yahoo.com ASAP. Otherwise I'm going to post these on Ebay. I've got a new bike to buy and I'd like to get these items sold as soon as possible.

The seat cowl has already been posted on Ebay......

Windscreen has been sold. Thanks Divo.

Yoshi Pipe and PCIII are still available. Unless someone contacts me today (please PM or email me) these will be up on Ebay and you'll have to take your chances with the rest of the world. I'd prefer to sell to forum members and avoid Ebay fees, so let me know if you're interested.

Thanks, Kiggy

No drilling required. Here's how you install the cowl:

There are a couple of brass latches the are part of the stock seat. So you first take your seat off, flip it over and unbolt these latches and install a nylon strap. Put the stock bolt and latches back on. The nylon strap wraps over the top of the seat and is the same color as the seat cover itself, so you hardly even notice it. This strap just bolts on using stock bolts, there are no modifications to the bike.
You then just reinstall the seat on the bike.

Now, once the strap is on the seat there are two metal clips that simply slide over the nylon strap. Each clip has a screw hole in it. You simply line the clips up with the two holes that are on the seat cowl. There are two holes at the front of the seat cowl, one on each side, that you run screws through to bolt the cowl down to the clips that are on the strap on the seat.

It takes 10 mins to install. Once it's on getting the seat off is a challenge. You basically have to take the cowl off to get under the seat.

I've posted this on Ebay and put a $170 reserve on it. That's what I paid for the cowl itself. The decals were $30 alone, but I think they make a HUGE difference. Let me know if you're interested. There are more pics in the auction, but I can send you more if you need them.

Ebay Auction

By the way, I'll end the auction if you decide you want it.

Well I've got an undertail kit that is attached to the tail and I take my seat off often b/c I can't carry a pocketbook. Do you suggest it?
