well i got the call today about the bike, the retard that put the stator in didn't secure the bolt and it came out.

well as you maw have guessed, the stator, and the flywheel are shot. what are my options and what can i do?

the Honda shop says that "he would look on ebay" or call a list of salvage shops. which i have done now.

but here is the question i pose to you all, can/will an f2 stator and flywheel work on m f3?
and also the temp sensor in the block is bad, (the one that runs the temp gauge, will the one from the f2 work with f3.

how ever despite all this the Honda shop says that the engine is in great shape and i shouldn't have any problems what so ever when i replace these parts. good to hear

i did for shit And giggles ask what the fixed price was going to be, it was 1600$. before he told me he asked "are you siting down" lol

how ever, the rep there is/and has been very helpful, and because of that i will continue my business with Honda

Yes a F2 stator and flywheel will fit a F3. I checked the part numbers and they are the same. As for the temp sensor I am not sure.

$1,600 to fix it?? NUTS!!

I'd get the bike out of there, buy the stuff off of this Board or Ebay
and fix it yourself for less than $150.

You will need to acquire a flywheel puller & service manual. It's a VERY EASY job.

done and done, go tthe manual on the pc and i have the parts on the way. i (should) have it runing by next week end. told the shop to at least have it were i can ride it. i was told they would leave the stator out. that way it can run no problem but it just wont charge. will make for a lot less pushing
