Here are some images of my bike the progress I have made on switching the subframe. They aren't the best pictures but, oh well.

Been a while since I've been back to check for replies. I've tried so many other forums I honestly didn't expect a response. Thanks heaps.

looks great - this is precisely the info I was looking for. Did you do the welding yourself or did you take to a shop.

Any more progress since you last pics. I'm really keen to see how you cope with the seat/tank integration

well you cant really see in the pictures but first i aligned the swingarm and then i made spacers for both sides. after i got that straight i made new upper and lower shock mounts.

Hi grwilson. I was following the progress of your streetfighter in your other thread but the thread seems to have vanished or been moved in the last couple of days. Would really love to see the updated pics with the exhaust completed.

cheers...Jas

Well its been a while since I posted but here are some updated pictures of my bike. Just had the frame powder coated flat black, tried some polishing on the valve cover, and painted the engine black.  I am currently making a custom manifold so I can get rid of the ugly air box and instead use an APC air filter.  I'll keep you guys updated.
