yep, you can go to your nearest dyno shop and get a custom one done. i have an rs-5 as well and can't find one. i am using the jardine map and it works fine. i do want to take it in and get a custom map done. good luck on your hunt.

How much does having the custom map done usually cost? By the way, how do you like the RS-5?

Thanks!

The shop by where I live charges around $200 to have a custom dyno map. From what I've seen online that's pretty much what you are going to pay, maybe more. I love the RS-5. It has a nice growl yet not excessive. Definitely kicks in in the midrange.

Shops around here want 300+ to tune for a PC III. But IMO, not needed. After countless hours of researching... some of the manufactures will admit that their slip-on doesn't do anything different performance wise than brand X. If a slip on has a 2 1/4 straight through pipe... most do, and then they will perform the same. Length does play a part in this, but they're all close to the same in that area also. That is why DynoJet only has one map available for slip ons... they don't need to waste time or money. You can find some of this in DynoJet's FAQ pages. They state that the maps they list will put in the 90% to 95% optimal performance for your equipment... is the other 5% to 10% worth $300? That's a nice new set of rubber, helmet, jacket or something else you can use. See my point.
