I am considering this 1993 CBR900RR for sale.

I am in the need of a cycle after a 3 year lay-off. And my wife and I are buying a house here in CA, so financing anything is out of the question. I have scrapped up $3K for a bike. So I know anything for that price will be used pretty heavily. It boils down to the maintainence and the type of riding, right???

Ok so here is this CBR900RR with 88K miles. Two brothers Cams, pipe, triple clamps, stortz steering dampner, bradded lines, K&N filter and jet kit. Very well maintained, excellent condition. Never down, raced or abused!! All according to him.

It looks very clean. And he claims they are all freeway miles (commuter).

Should I buy it?

Well, I don't know what is right for you, but I have never regretted buying my bike. I have had it for 10 years & will never sell it. You can see my machine in my signature. What color is the one you may buy? Is it my colors or is it the black/silver/red scheme?

Also, what are your intentions with this bike? That may be a big factor! Depending on what you want out of it may decide if you should buy it or not. Do you ride hard? Will you use it to commute on highways only? etc etc etc

Woo Hoo!!!!! I took the plunge. And I hope I don't regret it.

This CBR is a ton of fun. I have ridden a CBR before, but this is SOOOOOOOO different. What incredible response in the 4500 RPM range!

I just hope that this bike stays fun and not a shop bill. So far, so good.

Thanks for the extra push here guys.

Gotta go ride.

Oh BTW - It is the black/red/silver color. The last owner recessed the turn lights in to the fairing. Cool look.

I got my '94 for $1000. Only thing is it's Euro spec and I will be selling it next year when I leave Spain. Maybe I should yank the engine and take that back with me(LOL).

I bought my 99 new and I still lobe it. Just got a 97 with polished frame, front and rear stands and spare plastics a month ago with 36k for $750. It's going to be my trackbike. But first, I swapped the frames. Here is a picture of it.

2000 929 tail. I also cut out some holes and stuck metal grills behing them. I got the idea from the 1000RR
