I realized that they are asked about often, but I have one quick question. Do sliders fit all bikes or am I going to need a pair specifically for my 98 F3?

The bolt sizes are different for different makes.

One of the bolts were actually longer on the set that I bought. The shorter bolt went on the clutch side and the longer bolt went on the alternator side.

You can check out www.kneedraggers.com. That's where I bought them. Compare part numbers and that'll give you a better answer to your question.
