Hi all, i was trying to add led lights to replace the rear stock blinkers and my bike died on me. Lights will go on but faintly. No front blinkers and horn sounds like crap. Does messing with the wires in the back to replace blinkers cause the battery to drain so quick? I dont think it is the starter because i can hear it clicking when i try to start it (95 CBR600f3). thanks for the advice

How old is your battery? Most likely it was on its last leg and all the 'testing' of the lights killed it.

What do you mean it stays on after blinking? Does it blink when you have the turn signal on and after you shut the turn signal off it stays on?

I saw this on another bike.. did you add resistors? sometimes if you don't, the flasher wont click on and off, and sorta gets stuck on or off..

OK, I don't know anything about the F3, but do the stock lights also function as running lights? When I replaced the blinkers on my 1000RR, there were 3 wires. Only 2 were needed with the LED blinkers, power and ground. Maybe you have the wrong wire and that's why it doesn't turn off?

If I'm all wet, just ignore me and I'll go away. Just offering up suggestions.
