Hey everyone,I'm 19 years old, no riding exp except having recently just passed the MSF course, and single. I just bought a honda cbr 929 rr about a week ago WITHOUT EVEN CHECKING THE QUOTE ON IT. I surfed around in the phone book and called up 20 different insurance companies (Big and Small ones including the big guys such as State Farm, All State, and Progressive). Most of the places I called for a quote said they would call me back (LOL : which they didn't) but during that time... it was estimated at $ 4,000 a year... full coverage at $500 deductable. I was about to SHOOT myself literally when I got sooo frustrated. Then I saw in another thread that everyone said THE insurance company to go to was State Farm. !!!!!!BINGO!!!!!! I've never been so releaved in MY LIFE!!! okay... for being a 19 year old... and never ridden a motorcycle BEFORE.... I got a great deal for around $ 900 a year for full coverage at $ 500 deductable. What made an impact on it was things such as me living with my girlfriend(who also is a preferred customer at State Farm), having good credit history (always paying my bills on time), and I COULD'VE gotten an additional discount if I had a B average... The catch was that I had to bring my other car (just one) to the company so that they know you won't be going anywhere else. So all in all... i'm basically paying $ 77 a month... for a 1000 CC class bike. Is that crazy or what?! If you guys know my situation... most people get quoted at $200 - $400 a month! So this is a shout-out for everyone who needs a GREAT insurance company. They did me so good that I feel that everyone should deal with State Farm. If ya'll have any questions, just ask.

I pay $125 a year with SF on my 1000F. But then again, I've been with SF ever since I started driving 24 years ago.

I think the only people better then State Farm is USAA. But then you have to be prior or active military to get in with them.
