I've got a Vance/Hines full system, cams and jet kit - I can vouch for the fact that even though it's nearly 20 years old w/20K+ miles on it, my bike will do a GPS verified 160mph+(I ran outa balls at 160). Thats faster than the specs say the original bike was.
I should also mention that I ended up at the top clip(leanest) w/the jet kit before I got it civilized enough to ride in traffic.

My friend routinely crushes me on his new ZX10 though :)

Odd, when I put my 94 on the Dyno at AMI Daytona last year, I got it up to 165 with only a K&N air filter (speedo said 185, dyno posted 165 corrected). It put out 100 bhp and 60 ft lbs - right where I expected it to be.

If this was on a Dyno it would'nt account for wind-resistance and rider weight.

I get 35ish MPG but I should point out that I only ride the bike for fun so I'm usually into the throtte hard.

I know I get 30ish in town, but on trips I can get 40-50mpg. I have done better with just long interstate driving at descent speeds.
