Took the bike out yesterday and ran into a new cbr1000... great bike, being that it was the first time seeing it>>OVer in Iraq! My 954 doesent have anything special, but I put the 1000 to shame!! overall the bike is a beast but it doesent handle like a 954! To add insult to injury he asked me what model and when did they make it! very very sad_U shouldnt own a HONDA! I love Honda but i think that the 954 is by far the best that they will ever make, and that everyone with one, are in their own class!!!!! SO LETS HERE SOME STORIES OF THE INFAMOUS 954!!!

I own and adore my 954 but I will not bag out the new 1000cc I think it a great bike. But the reason why I bought the 954 to the 1000 was I preferred the colour scheme on the 954 to the 1000. But they are both great bikes. Pity the guy did not know which bike you had he might have been on the moon while you were in Iraq .

It's as old as bikes -- he who rides better will win. Skills kills. You are a better rider than he. I also like the 954 schemes -- but I like my 1000rr also.

I got my 954 right when they replaced it witht he 1000RR. I was planning to buy it brand new, but I had to get a used one. At that time I didn't even consider the 1000RR. Now I'm curious, what did I miss out on by getting the 954 instead of the 1000RR. I've never ridden one, so if you can feel me in on how different they are?

what is the top speed of the 954rr the true speed not the crappy indicate factory speed o speed
