Hey, Im new to the motorcycle world. My friends brother has an '87 CBR600F that he never uses since he's in college now. He offerd to sell it to me for $800. I think Im going to buy it. The only thing is he repaired a crack on the left side of the body, so theres no paint there. Also the left mirror broke off and part of the windscreen on the left side is cracked off. (Dropped the bike on its left side while moving it into the garage.) I havn't had much luck finding a replacment mirror (or windscreen), so I have been looking into the ones that clamp onto the handle bar. What I'm really getting at is how should I go about painting the area he fixed up, and if you know a place where I can get a left mirror that would be great. Also just any information about the motorcycle that you think I should know or you would like to share would be great. I may have pictures later this week so you all can see what Im talking about. Any help is greatly appreciated.

ebay is the way to go but if not try ron ayers motorsports for parts sometimes painting the fearing is more expensive than buying it(it comes already painted) .

I have looked into Ebay for the mirror, and the only one i found cost about 100 dollars, so I was thinking about getting a set of billet mirrors. The area that needs to be painted is about the size of an open hand. My friend just said I could use spray paint. Im not too sure about that which is why I asked you guys here. I just checked that ron ayers motorsports website...they dont have the body for a 87 CBR600F. I have found a windscreen though.
