i had to clean my carbs out. floats were stuck. put them back on and bike runs. but runs kind of rough. also its blowing white smoke out exhaust. the bike hasnt been ran in awile becuase the carbs were nasty. i just bought it. so anyways what should i check because of the white smoke and the hestitationwhen i give it gas? im gonna put plugs in it tomarrow. so that may be why just want some other ideas.

Frank sounds like your only running on 3cyl.Try replacing the plugs first.The white smoke is nothing to worry about that is fuel that is caked up in your can from the floats or being flooded.If you havent already,change the oil.Bet you it smells like gas and that white smoke has a little stinch to it too doesnt it.Once you change the oil get it up to temp. and then run the dog sh#t out of it.Or get it in 2nd or 3rd run it all the way till you hit the rev. limiter and let it decel all the way back.Do that several times.If that doesnt get it,float needles and make sure you clean your pilot jets and you will need something very small to clean them,but you should be able to hold them up in the light and see a very small round hole.Also when you first crank it you can reach down and lightly touch each pipe and figure out which one is not firing right.

thanks for the replie. i got it running pretty good. just need to change oil. then i think it should be alright.
