You're on about models after the fx and fy, the fuel injected and sport versions; F-1 and FS-1 onward and its actually 108bhp(80.5kw)@12,500rpm according to my haynes manual.

They are still carbuerated. The F4I model in 2001 started the fuel-injected cbr's.

As far as HP goes, they run around 93 stock, but with a can and jet kit, you may be able to get 100 hp.

Yep as adam said, the F-X and F-Y models are carbuerated. Then the F-1 (F4I) and onwards are fuel injected systems.
So any thing including and before the F-Y on the CBR F models is carbed.

Advantage: easy to work on like older car engines.
Disadvantage: having to use a choke when bike is cold.

Depending on how old you are, this is the same progression as cars. Back in the day, before fuel-injection, cars needed to be "warmed -up" before driving them, especially the longer they sat. Cars today, that are fuel-injected, can be started and put into gear right away.
