Just purchased an 06 and wanted to get a slip-on. Looking at the two brothers, but my question is, as I look under the tail of the bike all I see are welds from the muffler on down through the exhaust. With a slip on, I would think somehow it would have to seperate from the base of the pipe and the OEM muffler. Do I have to do any cutting and or welding??

Thanks for you help.

No, the stock muffler attaches at the mid-joint which is located just after the buttefly valve.

You might want to consider an Arata slip on over the Two Brothers. Better pipe, and more horsepower gains. Just my $.02 on the exhaust.

I'm going with Arata as soon as I fing the money. I still have to buy leathers for track days in June which I still have to pay for.

I went with the M4 slip on. This thing rocks! It looks sweet, sounds awsome, and adds 4hp. It's so new (for 06's) that dealers don't even have their marketing pictures yet. You can go to www.exoticsportbikes.com and give sales a call to order it for about 330.00 and that includes shipping. M4 sales them for 330.00 plus shipping.
