I sometimes run short small errands on my bike and I ALWAYS carry my helmet w/ me.  Im sure most of you would also carry your lid if you had a custom airbrushd helmet.

Usually, one of two things happens. If I'm going to be inside a long time, shopping, eating, whatever, I'll take all my gear in with me. I wear a backpack with my gear, so most everything can go in it. If not... my gloves (barely! Stupid "trunk" in the 07's is rediculous) go in the "trunk". My helmet comes in with me and I just find a place to put it or carry it everywhere. A little annoying, but it get's the job done and I feel better about it.

If I'm just going to "run in" a place real quick, I just hang it on the right rear footpeg. If I'm rollin' two-up with my wife, we just use the "hook the metal loop of your helmet through the metal clasps of the 'trunk'" and lock it down. Works like the helmet lock, only there's only the helmet strap to cut. It seems to work fine so far.

that sucks about the drink cup, but hey, if you have the helmet in your hand, that hot chick that just walked by your super sexy CBR now knows who is driving it, so can you say "brownie points"?

+1...we're such squids

I bring all my shit in w/ me...put the gloves in the helmet and usually just keep the jacket on

Only downside is that you can't transport drinks from fast food places or ice cream.
