Hey: Unless you are going into a colder climate, during the hot summer try water wetter and plain old water it runs cooler, then just add coolant antifreeze 50/50 when you store for the winter as part of the winterizing of your bike.

Winters are not as cold here, as there, I expect, So the bike gets used year through In Queesnsland, Australia, winters are cool, summers are Hot (What's Snow?) My temp gauge always sits about ΒΌ until I have to stop for lights or traffic, then it gets hot and usually the Fan kick in. I also want to run coolant to protect the engine from corrosion
