I installed a Comp Werkes LTD system on my 06 1000RR. For some reason I can't get the LCD license plate light to work. After testing I have verified that power going through the wires up to the light. Since I have it hard wired I thought maybe that I might have it wired backwards, but since it only has two wires shouldn't it work no matter how it's wired as long as electricity is "looping" through? If you have any ideas you should know this is the second light I am dealing with from CW. I thought I ruined the first one by tugging on the wires to hard but now I am thinking it didn't work for the same reasons the second isn't working. Also, I installed the same system on an 05 600RR with no problems.

This is really bugging me so any help would be great.

Flip the wires

MgA_ODEN is the man! I flipped the wires and the light works. I sure feel stupid since I was so stubborn thinking that flipping the wires could not possibly be the solution. And I thought I had a basic understanding of electricity. Regarless, everything is now right in my world.

Also this has to be the fasted response a question and fix to a problem.

Again, props out to MgA_ODEN
