I have Vortex Sliders... and the best ones are the ones that save your bike. You'll hear different opinions, but I believe sliders made of Derlin are better. They'll grind away and slow the bike down. Try and stay away from the no-cut sliders... too many possibilities of weak points. And stay away from the metal-for-show type. It's a tool, not bling....

I don't hide from anyone... I use my real name on every forum I'm a part of. I have several, but for obvious reason... (I'm and administrator and I post often here) this is the only one use. I really don't like the lay out of other forums and I love the members here. Anyways... enough plugging the forum. I recommend looking into flush mount signals. If you drop the bike, the wings Honda mounts as signals will aid in breaking the fairing. I also have the slider spools for my swing arm made of Derlin. One mode I wished I had done on the first day was a speedo healer. That way my actual mileage would be displayed. Those are some to start with. But it all depends... what are you looking for? The bike runs great from the start so some don't need "more power". Are you going for looks or performance?

+1 on the Vortex, I've crashed several times and they have protected my bike very well. Minimal plastic damage and no frame damage.

I have the Intuative Racing Sliders. I like them but they are a little thicker than most the others so when they got cut they fit very very tight. I have no complaints about them as of yet.
